The fonds Assemblée ad Hoc consists of documents regarding the activity of the Ad hoc Assembly Instructed to Work Out a Draft Treaty Setting up a European Political Community, as well as of each of the delegates that worked on the drafting of the treaty. The draft treaty was prepared in various stages: it was first drafted by four subcommittees, then presented to the Constitutional Commission and finally approved by the plenary. Along with official documents, resolutions and directives approved by the subcommittees, the Commission and the Assembly, there is a series of files documenting the meetings held at each level (sub-committees, Constitutional Committee and plenary). These documents are mainly printed, and some are translations distributed during the meetings. There are very few original documents
