Summary

In our review, we identified nine key risk areas related to a results-oriented approach for EU development and cooperation action. Our review showed that these risk areas had been correctly identified by the Commission. It also showed the interest in the Commission's initiatives to improve EU development and cooperation results. Nevertheless, further actions remain to be taken in order to make these initiatives fully effective. We formulate a number of recommendations in this regard.--
