The fonds is composed of 7 sub-fonds: The first includes documents dating back to the foundation of the bank and material from the administrative board as well as reports from 1958 to 1980. The second one contains material related to Member States' membership. The third one documents the relationship between BEI and other banks and international financial institutes, including the World Bank. The fourth sub-fonds is related to subsidies that the BEI administered. The fifth gathers BEI publications: guidelines, periodicals, a collection about various topics as well as economic studies and some reference works. The sixth sub-fonds is related to 25 projects that BEI finaced from 1959 to 1971 (24 in European States and 1 in the Ivory Coast. The seventh sub-fonds concerns the moving of offices of the BEI to its permanent location
