- La France a changé, et rien désormais ne sera plus comme avant. En deux générations à peine, les Français ont radicalement modifié leurs façons de vivre, de penser et de voter, au point qu'on a pu parler de "Seconde Révolution" pour désigner les bouleversements intervenus au cours des années 1960. Ce sont ces Révolutions françaises que retrace pour nous Jean-François Sirinelli. Elles ne sont pas toutes politiques ; nombre d'entre elles concernent la vie intime des Français, ce qui les enthousiasme, les fédère ou les heurte, des Parapluies de Cherbourg au Cabu de Charlie Hebdo, de la fin de la guerre d'Algérie à la révolution introuvable de Mai 68, du règne de De Gaulle à l'ascension de Macron.
